The Cave

Imagine dining in a one-of-a-kind spot set in a 25,000-year-old underground cave!

This hidden gem near Uluwatu was uncovered in 2013 while building a villa and has since been transformed into a stunning circular restaurant with just 22 seats. Due to its intimate size, I recommend you book well in advance!

You’ll enjoy a seven or ten-course modern gastronomy menu, with the option to pair each course with fine wines and cocktails. As you dine, the lights will dim and a captivating light show will dance across the cave walls.

The menu is crafted by Chef Ryan Clift, renowned for his work with top chefs like Peter Gordon and Emmanuel Renaut, and the genius behind Singapore’s award-winning Tippling Club.

Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomique

Mozaic, located in Ubud, is one of the best fine-dining restaurants in Bali. It is the only restaurant in Indonesia to make the list of the top 100 restaurants in the world! 

What should you expect here? A blend of French cuisine and Balinese ingredients created by Head Chef Chris Salans and Blake Thornley.

Located in the center of Seminyak, SI JIN draws a crowd of food lovers, and it’s no surprise it has a 3-month waiting list. Yes, 3 months! So definitely plan ahead (way ahead) for this one, it is completely worth it.

The restaurant is headed by Chef Joel Lim Si Jin, a South Korean with a passion for meat. You will enjoy an unforgettable grilling experience, exclusive/rare cuts, and a drink menu featuring wines and signature cocktails like Ticket to Seoul.

BLANCO Par Mandif

Elaborate modern Indonesian cuisine

Di Mare Restaurant

Uluwatu fine dining

Di Mare sits atop the cliffs of Uluwatu in the luxurious Karma Kandara Resort. It is an open-air setting that allows you to enjoy magnificent views across the Indian Ocean.

The serene setting of this restaurant makes it a perfect place for a romantic dining experience! 

For dinner Di Mare chef’s Joseph Antonishek takes guests on a journey to discover their award-winning Mediterranean cuisine made from Indonesian ingredients.

They offer several tasting menus, including a seven-course signature tasting menu, a six-course seafood tasting menu, and a six-course vegetarian tasting menu.

My advice: come for sunset and enjoy a long, delicious culinary experience well into the night!

For a more traditional dining experience, breakfast and lunch are also served here. However, please note that these menus are more straightforward and not by chef Joseph. Vegetarian options are available as well.

Kubu, located in Ubud at the Ritz Carlton, offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a truly romantic evening in it’s all inspired by nature venue.
